"Customer service depends on how much you pay them because they're view point is " Your lil payment is....." As if anyone's payment is a lil bit will depend on how they treat you. I been with this actual office for 10 years. No DUI, traffic violations. But if you use your towing for not one car but TWO or more. You might as well look for another insurance company because they will drop you even before the cancellation date on file. I have never had any other insurance office state the reason for cancellation is towing and drop me. Didnt even wait for the "Grace Period" i was verbally told is (two weeks) and its always been that way. Still calls me like nothing is going to happen or have the guts to tell me what they were going to do to me over the phone. Not even from towing one year, two years but 4 years. Why not go back all years! There was years in between when i didn't even use my towing! If this is how you treat someone for paying you for years then i appreciate you showing me how feel(personally). Didn't see much diversity in the office anyway so i can assume why they dont want my money anymore. Please ask questions and shop around. Customer service is very important and if they even thought i would recommend them now versus before. Dont use State Farm! And i been with the company before Mike came to work there. His customer service doesn't seem genuine. Unfortunately I didn't stay this long because of the customer service in the first place. Even charged me for two life insurance policies when i told them i only wanted one (Sneaky). Glad you showed me your true colors State Farm. Just to clarify i know everyone has a job to do. The fact that i have changes made i didn't know about without communication especially if i didnt ask for it or its different than what i asked and was told. Nobody should have to discover anything is different on their policies especially when there is communication established before and is told "everything is fine" but on paper its different. The decision may be from corporate but its the delivery of the information to the customer that shows if you want their business or not. I appreciate the service from the one or two people i usually talked to because they are just doing their job. Again this is from how i felt i was treated based on the honesty i received from others about what could happen. And i paid money to a company for this treatment as if my money didn't matter . Reached out to me personally to switch back from another company because the rates offered were slightly lowered. I felt bamboozled multiple times but i still stayed and paid for this to happen in this manner. Especially since i was told something different than what was factual. The company made the decision for me. I really didn't have a choice."

We unfortunately do not make decisions for company cancellations as this is done on corporate level, so we had nothing to do with the particular decision made here. If you have a problem with that feel free to make your complaint to state farm corporate, rather than try to drag my office down for something we can’t control. "Talked with a representative over options for car insurance, life and disability insurance. They were very kind and respectful and explained everything very well which was fantastic for someone like me that has no idea anything about insurance. Was given a great deal that was cheaper than what I was paying for. Could not suggest going anywhere else for insurance now. Sublime service!"

"Dropped my policy on short notice through text message"

"Courtney, I’m sorry to see your 1-star rating and completely understand your frustration with the non-renewal. Non-renewal decisions are made on the corporate level and do not have anything to do with decisions made in our local office. State Farm notified you by mail and email on 9/15/24, which was two months before your policy would expire. The text message sent from our office was simply sent as a courtesy to ensure that you were aware of what was going on with your policy and had time to find coverage elsewhere to avoid any gaps of coverage. To say we notified you last minute is simply untrue and unfair when we were going the extra mile to make sure you were taken care of. "I switched to Mike due to terrible service I was receiving from my previous StateFarm agent in my home city; changes were getting made to my policy without my knowledge. Switching to Mike, I thought things were going to be okay since he was highly communicative about policy renewals and collecting payments. When things get serious though, he is impossible to get in touch with. I have been calling for 2 weeks and even had emails sent to receive no call back. When I do call in, I'm continually told he isn't available and then routed into the 1-800 customer service phone tree navigate prompts and have to explain my situation repeatedly. Repairs done to my vehicle a year ago are already falling apart. I went through a shop my previous agent highly recommended instead of using the place I had a previous positive experience with. I'm regretting that now, because StateFarm is just shrugging about whether or not that claim can be revisited for further repairs. The claims agent had ME track down the name of the glass repair place my previous agent recommended. The agent told me there was nothing in my records, but when I called someone else, I got "I don't know why they would say that, it's right here in your records". Now that I need a simple bumper piece fixed, I am getting the runaround again by StateFarm and the collision repair company. I pay for rental coverage and the SUGGESTED repair shop by StateFarm is stating they won't be able to make repairs within the timeframe allotted for the rental and that 40% of their cars are totaled. It's the corner of a bumper!!! Seriously?! It took the claims agent for this repair OVER A WEEK to take my call for a recorded statement about the accident. I still can't get Mike on the phone to get an idea of what to expect based on his experience. It's taking HOURS of my time trying to solve something all of these people are being paid to solve. It is unacceptable and this now seems the standard for StateFarm. "Like a good neighbor, StateFarm is there"?. LOL, apparently not. Response to Mike since Google does not allow a reply: I'm not worried about excuses for why you were so incredibly unhelpful and unavailable as an agent. The bottom line is I am a customer who pays for your services and I was more than patient in allowing you time to resolve them, let alone contact me back. In under 24h, another agent was able to make contact regarding the two claims and resolve the issues you sent me running around for 3 weeks over. Do better."

As previously discussed, multiple times by multiple representatives at our office, we aren’t licensed in claims and provided you the direct line you could call for immediate assistance. We apologize you were unable to get the help you needed from them yesterday. Our claims department is completely unrelated to what we are able to handle, and usually if there were any issues, we are happy to look into things further, but at this point you will need to work with your new agent to get this resolved since you have requested a transfer to a new office. I tried reaching out to you yesterday to touch base on this but the call was unable to get through to you. Hopefully things can get resolved with your new agent but if you need to speak to me, please call me directly at 804 728 2740. - Mike"

"I inherited Mike when my insurance person retired. I had been with her for 20 years and I was a little unsure about this new guy. I can tell you a year later I cannot thank Mike enough. He has answered every question, completed every request, and gone above and beyond what was Necessary. When our bank miss placed our insurance document 3 times, Mike replaced it every time and never made me feel as if I was being a pain, even though I know I was. Thank you Mike.
